Spiritual Encouragement:

May His Abundance Never Scare You - “‘It’s as if you can’t fully enjoy the goodness because doing so will usher in something ‘bad’. God is standing there, holding the other shoe, ready to drop it when we like life a little too much. He has to ‘even out’ the abundance; make sure we don’t get too happy. But that’s not who He is,’ she told me.” I needed every single word of this article.

Fruitfulness and Usefulness - “Though fruit is beautiful, it is not meant to be looked at or admired, but given to others.” So good and convicting.

Having Confidence in Prayer - Three things we can learn about prayer from Elijah’s example in 1 Kings 18.

Chasing Rest - This really resonated with me and if you’ve been neglecting rest, I bet it will for you, too.

Community Love:

(A few of my favorite things from the online community - that’s you!)

What to Do When God Says No - Daily She Pursues // Shanté answers the question, “What do you do when God says no to your noble and well-meaning prayer?” As always, it’s super helpful and encouraging!

And Then Came June - Stuff and Guff // “I am building a life that I love. One that is, of course, marked in some ways by hardship and loneliness and the lingering reaches of grief, but much more so by prayer, stillness, liturgies of grace, new morning mercies, and an anticipatory hope I haven’t felt in a long time.” Another beautiful reflection from Bailey that’s so timely and inspiring.

Random and Fun:

Breathtaking Photos of the Netherlands in Springtime - GORGEOUS!

The Clever Folds That Kept Letters Secret - Call me a nerd but this is interesting.

How to Overpack for a Trip - I’ve been guilty of every single one of these HAHA!
