My Favorite Things: November 2022

November Favorites

Happy End-of-November!

Where did the month go?! It flew by for me, but I’m doing my best to enjoy this time of the year and the last month of 2022.

By the way, here’s my reflection on autumn if you’re interested.

Here are a few things I’ve enjoyed or that have encouraged me this month…

Let’s not forget about Ukraine - here are 3 practical ways to help.

I’ve got my eye on several of these books on this holiday gift guide for book lovers.

Speaking of which, my friend Brandi has got us covered on all things holiday books: she’s doing a weekly giveaway, she has an Advent guide, and a holiday gift guide. Check it out!

Speaking of Advent guides, I’m doing Bailey Ree’s free Advent devotional and it’s great. Highly recommend!

Currently listening to: this podcast episode on building community in an era of conflict.

And here’s a must-listen: how to find freedom from legalism.

Should we cancel Luther and Calvin?

My friend sent me this short video about having victory in your wilderness season and I’ve re-listened so many times I almost have it memorized. Such a timely reminder for me!

Love this and this!

If you could have any job in the world, what would you choose?

I had the joy of previewing my friend Shanté’s new 12-Week Jesus Bible Study and it’s so beautiful! Definitely one to check out if you’re looking for a great gift or a new study for yourself.

Here’s what to do when procrastination turns into regret (and how to avoid it).

Here are the 10 best cheese and candy pairings of all time, aka: the list we didn’t know we needed but now can’t live without! Jk…. sort of.

Speaking of food, I love the idea of a fish and chips night with tinned fish and potato chips!

On a more serious note, here’s what the Pelosi attack says about a post-truth church.

Is Christmas a pagan holiday?

The wintering we all need right now.

This month I shared 5 books for spiritual growth and my autumn reflections.

Currently on my nightstand: Heaven (still!) and Pride and Prejudice.

Speaking of books, here’s my fall reading list. What’s on yours?

Disclaimer: I am not in any way affiliated with anyone or anything on this list.  Just sharing a few of my favorite things!
